about
"L’homme du Monde" draws a parallel between globalized economic systems and philosopher Erwin Schrödinger's principle of superposition - a system that has two different states yet can exist in both. Like the paradox posed by his famous thought experiment about a cat, the system can be both alive and dead.
The song then digs into the question of anti-globalization. It tackles with much sagacity the paradox to be protectionist only when it suits us. Flexi-security for me, but also Chinese slaves for me. Wanting to win in everything is always a puzzle.

L’HOMME DU MONDE
(Lyrics : Bruno Pons Levy / Music : Marc O)
Moving from France in the 1990s, Marc O made an impact in the London alternative rock scene as a guitarist, singer,
songwriter, music producer and recording expert. His music enfolds many shades of classic rock and pop from the 1960s to the 1980s. The music edges between elegance and danger, raw energy and insouciant glamour. 2021 sees the release of Marc O’s first solo album, L'homme de l'ombre....more
